Pre-paid excess baggage policy
These rates are only valid for baggage allowance purchased online at www.srilankan.com and will apply only where the weight system baggage policy is practiced.
Prepaid baggage can be purchased up to 3 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight.
Applicable taxes will be collected separately.
Rates are subject to change without prior notice
Irrespective of your free baggage allowance, per piece weight cannot exceed 32KG.
Infant tickets are not eligible for pre-paid baggage rates.
Changes to pre-purchased baggage can be made free of charge prior to 24 hours of the scheduled original departure of the flight.
Date & flight changes will be allowed only for the same passenger taking the same route. Change of route or passenger disqualifies the passenger from obtaining free of charge date and flight changes for pre-purchase baggage.
Refund fee for pre-purchased baggage is USD 100
All refunds must be claimed 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure of the flight. It is not possible to refund your pre-purchased baggage within 24 hours of the scheduled flight.
